The High Velocity Ditch Checks 24 (HVDC 24)

GDOT approved the HVDC 24 April 18, 2023.

GSWCC approved the HVDC 24 May 26, 2022.

GSWCC approved the HVDC 14 Jan 14th, 2025. The HVDC 14 is a smaller version High Velocity Ditch Check designed for smaller V-ditches.

Replaces rock check dams with a cost effective alternative.

Available in two sizes 14′ & 24′

The HVDC advantages:

Cheaper to install and remove than rock check dams.

Reduces channeling by releasing the storm water in a controlled leveled manor. Rock check dams release water at the lowest point.

Promotes vegetative establishment.
